There are two things I’m in love now: flatbread and my new appetizer trays. I see flatbread as a white canvas that I can top with colors, textures
and flavors, like these grilled peaches with fresh goat cheese and pickled onion.
First, I have to say this pickled onions recipe is not mine. It belongs to chef
Lorena García. Second (related to the first one), these pickled onions taste
like heaven (like all chef Lorena’s recipes). Third, please save it because these
pickled onions pair amazingly with lots of dishes (including fried plantains and grilled peaches and fresh goat cheese flatbread). Forth, this is a non-cook recipe that can be done
in less than 10 minutes, plus the marinating time (at least half hour).

Chocolate, Strawberry Yogurt and Avocado Cupcakes. Yes you’ve guessed well. This unusual combination of flavors is part of a cook off challenge. Cacique Inc is challenging 10 food bloggers nationwide, to create a recipe using 10 ingredients (provided by them) and I’m one of the challenged.

Gluten free orzo
salad with black beans, avocado and cilantro. I owed you this recipe since
I published my grilled pork meatballs. It’s perfect for pairing with barbecues,
although I also like it as a main dish at lunch. Best of all is that while the
orzo is cooked, you chop the rest of the ingredients, make the vinaigrette and
have your salad ready in a jiffy.

Grilled pork meatballs. The best thing about pork is that
it's pork! When you cook with pork everything gets easy because pork meat is juicy and very, very tasty. Take a look at these meatballs. I
made them with lean pork meat and only added minced garlic and a pinch of salt.
They don't need anything else and since they are grilled, what can be better than that?
Alioli, chipotle cream sauce, and guava sauce with jalapeño. Today, I present not one, not two, but three recipes with a common denominator: they're prepared extremely quickly and are a delight. I'm excited to present my recipes for alioli, cream of chipotle and guava sauce with jalapeño
