Roasted Sweet Potato “Fries” Recipe

Roasted sweet potato “fries”. I believe the simpler the better. And if not, look at these sweet potato “fries”. They only have some olive oil, coarse sea salt, freshly ground black pepper et voilà!
As they are cut as if they were French fries, these sweet potato sticks are oven-roasted in less than 15 minutes including the 2-3 minute broil time the give them their crunchiness.
They are so, so good that even Abel, who came into my life saying he never sample anything sweet potato, now eats and tastes these baked sweet potatoes sticks as if he was having French fries!
Baked sweet potato sticks | Ingredients for 6 servings
6 potatoes, peeled and cut into sticks
3 tablespoons olive oil
Coarse sea salt
Freshly ground black pepper

Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 350˚F and cover a cookie sheet with foil.
2. Put sweet potato sticks in the cookie tray, drizzle with olive oil and mix well with your hands to make sure that all sticks are covered with oil.
3. With your hands distribute sweet potato in the tray and season with salt and pepper.
Bake for 8 minutes and with a spatula stir the sticks. Bake for 4 more minutes.
4. Put the oven on broil mode and broil for 2-3 minutes until the sweet potato sticks get golden brown.

5. Serve immediately.
