Tinto de verano, literally summer red wine, is a cousin of my beloved sangría. It is very popular in Spain and increasingly in this part of the world. It is prepared by mixing equal parts of red wine with lime soda. It can be served with ice and personally I like it with a slice of orange and a splash of rum. It's perfect for lunch on hot days like the ones we already have in Miami.
