Dry Summer (and a Toast to the Summer Solstice)

Here is the thing. I’m moving. That means I’m packing. My house is a mess. And after two months working full time, I have this blogging frenzy, again... Call it feeling good. Happiness. Summer.  So, I’m sharing this tequila cocktail just because of the picture, which by the way is not mine. All my photograph stuff is packed. But when I saw this drink I couldn’t wait to mix and shake it. It’s a must. A drink for serious people (and thanks to my friends Carolina Rincón and Alejandra Rísquez, who on behalf of Tequila Don Julio, pitched me the recipe and the pic!)

Life is Beautiful

June has always been a month of reflection for me. I was born in June. So, this is the time of the year in which I tend to put my life in review. My sister Andreína, who’s no longer with us, was born on June 3rd. And last, but no least, two years ago, also on June 3rd, I moved to wild, chic and vibrant Miami for good.

Zac Brown Band The Great American Road Tour: Man, That's Music!

I didn’t plan to write about the Zac Brown Band concert I went last night. I went as a regular fan that loves Zac’s love songs and takes pictures with an iPhone. We spent the weekend in Palm Beach Shores in Singer Island, in a very relaxed mood, having piña coladas and enjoying my kids while they were running waves. But this was my first Zac Brown Band live concert and there were so many good things that I couldn’t help but write about its performance at the Cruzan Amphitheater in West Palm Beach.
