Happy New Year with this Gingseng Glow!

I recently reconnected with my “rum roots”. So today I’m going to say good-bye to 2014 and will welcome 2015 with this delicious cocktail.

Mixed with the best rum ever, Aperol (as you may know, I love bitters), and fresh lemon juice this cocktail is completed with champagne.

Perfect for the occasion.

The Ginseng Glow* | Ingredients for 1 cocktail
1 oz of Santa Teresa 1796 Ron Antiguo Solera
½ oz Aperol
½ oz fresh lemon juice
½ oz honey syrup (3 parts honey, 1 part water)
1 package of powdered ginseng tea
Champagne Brut

Preparation
Put all ingredients except champagne in a shaker with ice and shake vigorously.

Serve in a flute and complete with champagne.
