Sampling at Seasons 52: An Amuse-Bouche of The Kitchen Hop - Coral Gables Edition

A couple of nights ago, I went to Seasons 52 in Coral Gables, as an amuse-bouche of what is big feast to come on Saturday, August 23rd, when The Kitchen Hop takes over Miracle Mile.

Seasons 52, where I have just tasted the best flatbreads I have had since moving to Miami, is one of the participating restaurants in this upscale gastronomic adventure in which diners can jump from one restaurant to another to another sampling the delights that come out of their kitchens.
Best of all, there is no agenda: between 2 and 6 pm you decide on the route of your choice, and come and go as you please. At every stop you’ll receive one or two chef-prepared samples. In addition to Seasons 52, you can stop by Cibo Wine Bar, Morton's Steakhouse, Bulla Gastrobar, Bricktops, Red Koi Sushi, BurguerFi, Fritz & Franz Bierhaus, Azúcar Cuban Cuisine and Pincho Factory.

At Seasons 52, I tried their superb flatbreads: blackened steak and blue cheese with cremini mushrooms, spinach and caramelized onions (mandatory); the classic Caprese with Roman roasted tomatoes, mozzarella and Parmesan cheese with basil; a delight with artichokes, goat cheese, roasted peppers and balsamic onions, and a non plus ultra with lobster and scallions.
I let myself be tempted with some of their bacon wrapped figs with goat cheese, and couldn’t resist trying their warm peach cobbler, cheesecake mousse, key lime pie and their amazing carrot cake. No worries: they were all mini indulgence desserts and I could still walk and so will you!
