Rose Mojito

Because I have never seen roses so beautiful like the ones in Southern California every April.

Because I love mojitos.
I made this mojito with rose petals.
No word can describe the subtle rose taste. It’s just perfect, and pink and beautiful. Cheers! Life is beautiful!
6 spearmint leaves
6 rose petals
3/4 oz Simple syrup (one part water, one part granulated sugar)
1.5 oz Ron de Venezuela Santa Teresa Claro
3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
1.5 oz club soda

In a shaker, muddle the mint with the rose petals and simple syrup. Add the rum and lemon juice, and fill with ice. Shake well and strain into a highball glass filled with crushed ice. Top off with club soda and garnish with a mint sprig.
